How does everyone feel about “winning from the table and not you seat” Motto. This is the APA’s motto and they have even tailored and have changed rules to reflect this type of sportsmanship program.

After watching the Olympics, where the speed skater was disqualified after taking the inside track as opposed to the outside track, I have been thinking about it. If this were a sanctioned APA event would the APA have crowned him Gold anyway?? He was clearly very far out in front and would have easily won had he chose the right lane.

This brings up many questions and scenarios that I have in the back of my head. League nights are one thing but higher level tournaments are another. Where do you draw the line between socializing and competing and to what extent??

"It is not what you have, but what you overcome"
